I know this will upset everybody in the racing community. But, I do think it's ridiculous that every one keeps skinning all their bikes to the 2011 rm-z model. I think the RF organizer's should put in a rule similar to the AMA... in that only bikes within a 2 model year difference can be raced. Hopefully this would could help with every bike on the line being same (at least it will force teams to use some of the newer models) I would love if somehow JLV could fix all the cross modelling... ie. If you want to run Honda then you have to use a Honda dyno. Again, I know everyone will just say... why not use the fastest dyno... and I have no real issue with that... I just think it kind of spoils the Brand rivalries. I want to see guys on Kawi's actually win on a Kawasaki.

I do agree, but it'd be a rule change, there's nothing you can do to stop it within the game.

Agreed, it's some-what annoying to see a kx graphic kit on a honda dyno, same with the others

If this happens every team and their cousins sister is going to switch to either Yamaha or Suzuki.

That's why I think there needs to be a very limited amount of engine tuning in this game based off each current dyno as a base. Something like we had back in Motocross Madness 2 would be perfect.

If this were true, people would use something other than the 2009 yz250f ... same with the RMZ.

Its all about Mental games and word of mouth..... If someone says the 2001 CR125 has more power than any bike in the game then pretty soon everyone is using it. Honestly I do find the 2013 250's a bit slow sans the ktm250sxf but that's just my opinion and based off what I've gathered from testing them.

It's all in everyone's heads. The power is different on different dynos, but each of the dynos can be competitive. People just see the best guys like Byron and Tysen on RMZs, or Jeremy Smith on the yz250f, so they think that must be the way to go fast. If you see the model then I don't get how it matters. You aren't only seeing RMZs on the line if you have the skins downloaded. And even if you were only seeing RMZs, I don't think it matters. I know I don't care.

I get the idea. but unless JLV can get new models out every year (which in my opinion is WAY to much to ask for) im going to have to say it is dumb as far as the 2-model year thing goes. I kind of like were you're going with the skin=dyno thing. but the more i think about it the more i like it, It would even everything out alot, the whole RMZ450 and YZ250F thing would be solved, YZ450F not so great, RMZ250 is garbage, teams would really think about what bike to use. Though i do not think this rule should apply to the 125's, (lets be honest, asking people to hop off of the Rm 165 is a little mean)

Each bike is different in its own way anyway, whether it be in handling or power delivery. Just a matter of finding what works with your style is my take. Like tyskorn said, seems to be in our heads that it's RMZ450 or YZ250F or nothing hah, even if the Yamie is from 09
