Hey all,
One thing that has been bothering me is the the poly count on the hands and arms of the rider in 1st person view. The detail on the bike looks terrific in first person, but the arms are very blocky in comparison (even with the model graphics turned to 100). Would it make the game lag a lot more if we made the arms a bit more round? I'd assume a new rider model would need to be created for this, no?
And then other idea that I thought of (which probably has been recommended in the past) is the ability to turn the rider's head to the left and right in first person. Right now, my right stick is set up for leaning the rider forward and backward but the left and right motions on the stick don't serve a purpose. I think it would not only look cool in some instances but it could also serve a purpose for looking to see who's next to you or even behind you going over jumps. I noticed on replay the rider's head turns independently from the rider's body already so maybe implementing this wouldn't be a huge task? (It could be, I have no idea)
That's it for now. Thanks again for all the hard work that's continuously going into this game!
A couple 1st person ideas.

I agree with both, an option to look behind you would be good too

I'll definitely be creating a new rider model soon.

The whole free look in first person would be ace! Would lean to some awsome helmet cams and would be dope to turn around while throwing a fattie

I'd just be happy with a first person view that doesn't make me feel like my head is attached to a pogo stick and violently sends me into seizures mid moto.

If anyone's heard of 'Track ir' you'll know what I mean when I say that this would so freaking awesome! I'd love to be doing whips and looking at the bike and going through corners and having to actually move my head in real life.
This feature might also help people who get dizzy in corners and bumps when riding in first person.
Please make support for track ir because if you do I might just be the happiest guy around.

same as the oculous rift, just that the Oculous Rift is way better since you dont need to turn your head but keep your eyes on the screen, becasue the ocoulus rift has its own two little screens in the device.nnno123 wrote:If anyone's heard of 'Track ir' you'll know what I mean when I say that this would so freaking awesome!
