Skins

Post by DougBauer19 »

I thought of one thing, some of you used to the regular skinning process. I think if Jlv took the time to make a skinning app so everybody could figure it out easier, and it would be more fun. Then people like me could learn easier. If you disagree I would like to know why my idea is bad or if you like it than cool. And one thing is since I'm 12 I don't understand a lot of the coding and setting up all this stuff, which I'm pretty aware that its not easy, this idea might not be great. And trust me this happens all the frikken time.

Yeah this is a bad idea, photoshop/gimp aren't complex programs for just making graphics atleast. You just have to have patience and watch tutorials. No coding involved either it's just proper file naming

If you put the time in, Photoshop is a very basic program for graphics. Pen Tool > Draw Lines/Curves > Fill with color/gradient.

Skins for mxsim is really simple actually, the templates seams together nicely. Can't remember, but I was going to make a car skin for some game. The template looked like an explosion, NOTHING was seamed together and nothing made sense. I've appreciated mxsim's templates ever since.
