it's common knowledge.Wahlamt wrote:Where's the source for this?RideRed04 wrote:it also makes more power then the ktm
It just standard the Husky comes with a properly shit exhaust so on paper stock it'll have 3-4hp less than the KTM.
But you rip that off and you've got a kato killer in a matter of seconds.

It has more to do with the airbox being sealed.

Re: Husqvarna dyno?
Husqvarna does actually have a tad more than a ktm. Because the husky's power is all top end and it revs higher than any other bike, that is how it gains that extra horsepower. Trust me, i own a 2014 husky fc250 which i actually sold today but i owned it for over a year. You can tell by riding it.

Re: Husqvarna dyno?
I don't think that adding a Husqvarna Dyno is the solution. In the end everyone will run the best/stronges bike and name their JMs after that (rmz450, yz250f(2009), 250sxf(09,16),...)
I personally think that the key is to have different bike models, but like 5-6 dyno curves to pick from. That allowes us to name a 250F Honda a 250F Honda instead of (for example) a KTM.

Re: Husqvarna dyno?
This I would like to think is true for 250's, but for 450's, at least in EMF, people seem to be using a few different, even if the most common ones are 2016 KTM and Yamaha. Some guys are running 2016 RMZ, some 2013 RMZ and I'd like to believe I've seen some 2016 KXF too. I can't speak for the top riders, but for most people it seems like the 450 gets picked after what each rider likes. I still like the 2013 RMZ for some reason, and out of the 2016 ones, Yamaha.Andy_Hack wrote:In the end everyone will run the best/stronges bike and name their JMs after that (rmz450, yz250f(2009), 250sxf(09,16),...)

Re: Husqvarna dyno?
After a couple games of b.i.k.e with friends the 2016 are a lot quicker than the 2011-2013, stuff the 2016 makes easily has the 2011-2013 strugglingWahlamt wrote:This I would like to think is true for 250's, but for 450's, at least in EMF, people seem to be using a few different, even if the most common ones are 2016 KTM and Yamaha.
