controller reconnect

i have this problem with my wired controller where if the wire moves it sometimes disconnects. this wouldn't be a problem but when it disconnects then reconnects the game cant recognize and i have to restart my game.

would be cool if jlv could make it so the game can recognize a controller if its plugged in while the game is running

It'd be possible but it currently expects to know about all the controllers when it starts up so it might be a fair amount of trouble to re-enumerate the devices later.

Yeah, but I still hate how if you start the game with your controller unplugged you have to restart it to get it to work.. Is there a workaround for that?
