Flag/ "Session Marker"

Post by gomoto846 »

I know this would take away from the realism of the game a little bit, but when I am trying to get a section down, I would like it if I could have a marker then have a button to reset to that marker. (Like Skate., Reflex, etc). This would make it alot easier to get sections, jumps, or corners down faster. Thanks :)

Just go into the editor and go to Timing Gates. Then you take Timing Gate number 3(I think :? ) and place it in front of the section or corner you want to master. Then you go into Time trial and have the "backing up aborts attempt" on.Then whenever you back up you will go back to the beginning of that section/corner.

You go to the last gate before the finish when you reset in time trial mode.

All you do is find your Shortcut to MXS.Right click>Properties. Then in the target line.Add "--editor to the end.
Then it will look like this.Ofcourse I have hidden pause in there aswell. That just hides "paused" at the top of the screen when you are paused.
Anyways, this is what it should look like.
"C:\Documents and Settings\tony a\Desktop\MX Simulator\mx.exe" --hidden-pause --editor

Playing free ride tracks with big lines in hills, this would be pretty cool. Also could maybe be enabled on and off in servers too if implemented?
