is the torso big enough?

Post by DankeKTM21 »

I find the torso of the rider is kinda big who make it looks like a goon, like he have his shirt off the pants.

instead of pro riders, who looks more PRO with the shirt inside the pants

Right now I'm not sure if it's worth it to make tons of improvements on the rider model. Until the rider positioning is changed who knows what it's going to do to the model.

You could fudge it a little in the model but to do major changes you'd need to change the armature.

if the shirt gets higher, the torso looks smaller. so theres your next problem you get.

I think the armature is where the body is split in two and bends though. So he can't make the pants higher or the guy will be rotating at his butt. And that would look extremely unrealistic.

The armature is his bones. The human body has 206 bones, and the armature simulates those bones with just 9. I believe it's a pretty hard thing to get it right. I'm sure game developer companies have single people who's profession is just dealing with animations and armatures.
