Maybe his TAB key is broken...then he is automatically forced to ride in first person all the time regardless.

My game has managed to crash on some occasions when you load into a full server with editor enabled.

I guess a better question is, why is having a default option between the two an issue?

Plus, it would be easier for new player too, cause if you dont know its tab, you cant change

A better question would be : JLV, would it be possible to add change camera to the controls, so we can change the default button.

So instead of having a setting we should have the ability to map it to a different button than tab but still not have it default to the user's preference on start up?

Basically what he is saying is it'd make it so that if you're a third person rider you won't spawn into the game in first person and will just go straight into third person. Yes it isn't hard to switch over to third person, but for newer players most of them don't know the key to switch it to third person right off the bat. Personally I don't mind having to switch it, but I also play in both views a decent amount. Wouldn't mind having something in the Graphics/Sound Set Up that you could just set it to go straight to third person rather than having to deal with first person at all though. Would make it more beginner friendly in my opinion.

I don't know.

It was especially funny when the aerospace engineer asked why I wasn't just in my preferred view. Kind of the point I was trying to make!
