Lower 1st person angle with large lean angle

Post by vmaki »

Would it be possible to dynamically lower the 1st person angle when the lean angle gets bigger? Maybe it could start after a certain threshold of lean angle and smoothly adjust to the desired 1st person angle as lean angle gets bigger? I'm not sure but I think it might also be good to check that both wheels are on the ground and that speed is under a certain limit? Or maybe the wheels on ground could be something that you could toggle? I'm not sure if it would be a good thing or not to have while whipping over a jump.

I think this would really help you to see where you are going in a tight low speed corner.

First picture is my normal 1st person angle at 25 and the second picture is at the same spot with angle of 5.

Sorry I couldn't get Mediafire links to work with the image tag.

Might be some gimbal lock issues when you're near vertical in a wheelie or endo but aside from that it should be possible.
