What’s happening JLV?

Post by ChuZ__ »

It’s been 15 years JLV what’s next on the list for this game?

I love this game but it’s sad to see it slowly losing popularity.
We need something big to happen.

That’s sounds really cool would make it pop more. What about adding shadows to the bike and rider? Would make it more visual pleasing.

It's great news to see you finally working on this. It should help with erode visibility issues.

Just asking - is everything done regarding the terrain updates/4k thing?

No. Still have to make the terrain draw in larger sections instead of one triangle fan at a time. Should be a big FPS boost.

I can't guess. Most of it is a special path to update the terrain textures by drawing new decals on top instead of redrawing everything from the bottom up. That part is almost done. Also need to do atlasing for the dropped decals which I don't think will be that complex but I'll see.
