Collisions

I think that this is still a big issue. The first thing that I think should be fixed is the ridiculous amount of time the front wheel freezes when you make contact. The time should be 1 second at most. Second of all I think the way the rider reacts when you try to make a block pass is way off. There has been many times where I have come into a corner, in no way trying to punt the person, just make an aggresive block pass, and I barely nudge them and I just fall right to the ground like the bike is paper weight.

I agree, there should be some kind of force threshold for this thing or something.

If you keep your passes clean without contact there is no problems . I like the way it is atm as it promotes clean passes/patiance and or switching up lines to pass

I think a lil change is what we need since in supercross are sometimes no passes without contact possible... this is what makes supercross interesting and it sucks when u fall down after a little contact!

I too really like the idea behind this. But the thing is now I usually can't even ride beside someone and not lose steering, because there's always slight touches. It may work better with lower pings though (my ping on jlv's server around ~170)

I agree with Vellu, racing people close on SX is frustrating with the front wheel locking.

I also agree. The threshold (if there is one, doesn't appear to be) needs to be increased

I'm going to stick with the current settings for a while. It's easier to make it less strict than it is to make it more strict. I'm not sure why people are so intent on making front wheel contact.

maybe if the collision barrier around the model were tightened up, when I watch demos of bikes making contact, there is still what apears to be 12 inches of space between the riders when the reaction from the collision begins

That's caused by lag. There isn't much that can be done about it.

On supercross tracks, this is unavoidable. You barely touch someone and you flop over like a fainting goat.

Its pretty stupid.

Very stupid. On starts and stuff people are going to bump bars, there is no way we can avoid it. And it seems like its always me who falls right to the ground. It was never like this before I really haven't seen any improvement with these new collisions except people ride alot more cautiously, which is good but not realistic.

Agreed with everything just said.
