Live time (sort of)

ok so if anyone has played trials HD on xbox they know that theres like a live scoring thing that shows your friends times. what if on just servers. like 02 there would be one of those lap time grids. so it would have the fasest time at the very front then would have a live pointer as to how close you are to that time so that you would know what you need to work on. like the image below
see how his is in the middle? meaning like there isnt a record if there was a record it would be on the right and his cursor would get closer to it or farther form it depending on how he did on that lap.
