MX Simulator

Dear JLV,

It has come far enough and action needs to be taken toward a specific player in MX Simulator called, "Menace". Every time I, and the entire community close to 20,000 other players go online, we are all subject to this cheating pest. We all have worked/earned the money to purchase your fabulous game, that has quite frankly been well worth the money. However if you want to keep this large community and gain further players (Money) you really need to consider removing '"Menace" from the online scene of this game. If you wish to develop this game into something regarded as, ''one of the best racing games of all time'' you need to get your priorities right. By keeping this player around you are literally saying this (1) player has more rights than the (19,999) other players.

The amount of threads that have been created in the hope to remove him, should provide you with a smallunderstanding on how much this community dislikes this guy...

JLV, I know you are extremely busy and most people are well demanding of your time, but something needs to be done, therefore consider this...

Is it possible to create a warning system on punting...
i.e. Players can be sent to the ban court for punting, but will only get 2-3 warnings per week before they get banned

Or maybe eliminating the problem itself...
i.e. Blacklisting "Menaces" IP address from online play.

I'd also like to see a IP ban. 30 minutes and he's back in. Your public IP often resets once your router is restarted, which makes IP-bans kind of inefficient sometimes. Banning the MAC-address or the UID would be the action to prefer

IP bans are almost completely worthless. Hardly anyone has a static IP address.

As far as banning for straight up punts, that's a slippery slope I don't intend to wander onto.

I like the part where over 3000 imaginary players paid 4.5$ for their copy, as well as every real human did. Stop whining and upload him doing a big time cut, than he'll get banned. Douchebags eventually get what they deserves.

It was a rough estimate...But yeah still a shit tonne...

You just have to learn to out smart his punts and turn it on him, then rub it in his face and move on, its all we can do at this stage until one amazing god finally catches him cutting.

Menace needs to be banned NOW. I'm getting sick and tired of him being in the server every time I'm on and wrecking myself, as well as everyone else...JLV IP PERMA BAN MENACE PLEASE!! EVERYONE WILL BACK ME UP ON THIS!! Its him and a guy named Dimmo that always take people out

At least it cuts the crap out of watching demos where 80% isn't anything. Rough racing, sure. Taking people out all race long, no.
