New Graphics card but problems online

Post by Yamaha285 »

K so i installed my GEforce GTX 560 to my pc to help my quality and it did but takes alot of texture memory to load just 5 people. I was running a ATI 4650 with the same stuff i have now and i could run 35 + with my card on balanced and still have a solid frame rate but not on this card no matter what i do it runs bad. It feels like frame buffer objects on but im sure they are not. When i joined 02 last night my offset was 20000 and climbing which ive never had happen to. To help you guys trouble shout me My CPU is a E5400, 4 Gs of ram, power supply is 700. I think its my CPU and was wondering if i just max my ram to 16 would that help me any our would i be wasting my time?

Thanks

More RAM won't help. If you aren't running the drivers from NVidia's site try that. The drivers that ship with the card are usually somewhat outdated.

Try the driver cleaner from YZ's driver topic.

certian tracks with like 3 people 300 to 500 and 02 racing 1000+ 1400 has been the highest.

Ive read that might happen to this CPU and was recommended the i5 2400 if i didnt want to spend tons.

I don't know how much memory your graphics card has, but if you're using 1400 MB on a 1 GB board you'll get awful performance. Try going down a step on the model texture detail setting and restarting the game.
