need help with JM's

im kind of new to skinning and all but I know what to do in photo shop and I have no trouble naming, my problem is I don't know if I need a new set of jms for every bike model e.g. I have a Yamaha pack that came with the template and the jms so everything works fine but say I want to do a kawi would I need a new set of jms and if so where do I find them?
