Bike skins on WRONG bikes.

Post by Barbo »

Alright, I'm sure there is a simple solution that I'm probably missing. But for some reason when i download a skin for a KTM or Suzuki. It's putting it on the opposite bike. For instance, I download a skin for a 2016 RMZ450 and put into into my folder, open up MX Sim and the skin is no where to be found on any Suzuki's. BUT when I select a KTM the skin the appears and turns the KTM into a Suzuki. Something is in the wrong spot it seems, but I'm not sure what. I don't want to mess anything up without asking first. Thanks in advance.

That happens by design. You're not doing anything wrong

Nick is right. People usually put their skins on the most powerful dynos when they release them, since those are the most used. 125 is RM, 250f id KTM 2016, 250 is often KTM or Suzuki, 450 Yamaha 2016 or KTM 2016. You can get around it by renaming stuff yourself, but it's a hassle to do much or often. Usually better to just ride those dynos.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll just deal with it for now. Now, I'm trying to do some skinning by adding my name and number to my gear, getting that to work. But the gloves aren't showing up. Sorry, completely different question. But do you guys might happen to know why?
