This is something different. It's getting the max framerate but not showing some of the frames for some reason.

Wood, does changing to windowed mode make any difference?

It shouldn't be that. I just tried and stopped nothing. I have a 660ti and older drivers stop it. It's like nothing I've seen before. 40mb to my card or CPU with software shouldn't be a big deal.

Coming home from work gonna try windowed and this. One sec. Actually I run in windowed normally to tab easier, I'll try full screen.

Running the new snapshot does nothing. Switching to fullscreen fixes the problem completely. weird because ive never had problems in windowed mode until i updated to new drivers, normally i only use fullscreen for recording videos.

Kinda sucks that i have to use fullscreen now, when i had amazing performance in windowed forever, as i prefer it over fullscreen. Wonder why new drivers do that.

If it's just when you're windowed, try turning off visual effects in Windows.

i think i turned off aero. and then tried turning off everything, it still happened so i re enabled all of it.

im just gonna run it fullscreen its fine. at least i found to stop the problem.

this is all i could find for visual effects so thats what i had disabled.

You want "Adjust for best performance".

now i feel like im in windows 95.

It DID help windowed mode get back to a solid 60fps no skipping.

now i guess to reenable visuals and find the one causing problems. my computer is too good to be having these kinds of problems though and needign visuals killed.
