Graphics problem.

Post by excepted »

I've been playing mx simulator for a while now, i have bought the full game, but i can only play the simple tracks like alcrest. But when i try playing the really HQ tracks like, black mesa or somthing the game lags extremely bad, it's just really choppy. I've updated my graphics driver, i ran the intel thing where it see's if your graphics are current, and they are. I have an asus laptop that i just got last christmas. What can i do to make some tracks run good without lag? Thanks! :)

Integrated graphics chips are going to be slow. All you can do is lower your settings. Try going into the single digits on the model geometric detail.

Alright will do, and do you got any recommendations for a good cheap desktop to buy? I plan on buying one soon just not really sure what to look for.

I'd go for a Core i3 or i5 system with a video card near the top of this list. The Nvidia drivers tend to have less problems than the Radeon drivers, so if there isn't a huge price difference go for a GeForce card over a Radeon.
