Trying to Make Server with D-Link DIR615

Alrighty. So I followed the compiled tutorial and got everything put together. I can connect just fine with the 127.0.0.1, but when I send my external IP others can't connect. It just says "contacting server". So I went to my Norton 360 firewall and configured it to "Allow" for the main .exe file.

That didn't work.

So I tried forwarding the port to 19800 UDP protocol. Where it says to enter an IP, I used command prompt to find my internal IP.

That didn't work.

So I tried using command prompt again and used my IPv4 address and entered that for the IP address to forward the port.

That didn't work.

I've read through all 19 pages of the thread for how to make a server, and still couldn't find my solution

I have done all the same with no success. I feel that it is something that is right in front of our eyes, in plain sight that we just aren't seeing. Kind of irritates me to be honest.

I find it funny that you are asking the game developer to help you deal with your router. Call D-Link.

He's helped others with the same problems dude. And I just used my IPv4 again and my internet is fine but still can't get anyone to connect

same problem I have. When I try to open the "runserver" file (not the batch file), it flashes the CMD and nothing happens.

when i try to get friends in, it just says contacting server and it just wont work. i really need some help here
