For all of you who have problems when playing online

Post by die996 »

There's quite a lot of people complaining for lag or for his PC loading tracks and other riders really slow these days. Here's one really easy tip

TAKE ALL YOUR MODELS AND SKINS OUT OF YOUR MXSIM FOLDER

Even my shitty PC (Pentium 4 with 2.7GHz and the stock graphic card) and my incredibly bad connection (1.6MB down, 0.5MB down) can handle a 30-man lineup like the ones found on 02 server for a couple of days

Models won't affect lag you get from your connection.

They do affect since the server has to send you back a lot more information (polies). Also, lowering your roost helps too

There are 2 different kinds of lag. Computer lag (offset) which has to do with the models, Connection lag (ping) which has to do with that awful internet..
You obviously have both Die..
only one to win something real from the game!

The server never sends any polies. It sends data regarding speed/RPM/rider status/angle.
