I havent put together a desktop for a while, but that seems like a pretty good price for all that equipment.
To answer your question: It wouldn't be good. It would be great

Only thing to watch out for is that I've heard of others Having problems with memory leaks with AMD cards. Not sure it is just a certain version or if the problem has been solved but it looks like a mean machine. It would run MXS and probably anything else for quite sometime on pretty high settings.

To fix the memory leak, I changed the terrain rendering method to "Hardware/copy".Pumaxcs wrote:Only thing to watch out for is that I've heard of others Having problems with memory leaks with AMD cards. Looks like a good machine, however the card is a little weak for a $1200 system.

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications ... CatId=1886
this ones refurbished. not sure if thats a big deal or not when it comes to pc's. im also not sure of the gfx card in it?
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications ... CatId=1886
just read the comments for this one, and it seems everyone this the gfx card isnt very good. so now im not sure about any of these lol.
could anyone list some of the hardware i should be looking for? or maybe even a couple builds you'd recommend? im gonna be spending a decent amount of money on this so i wanna make sure i get the right stuff. but thanks everyone for the help so far.

i guess adding my budget would probably help. id preferably like to spend under $1,000. but can go a few hundred higher if necessary.
