I thought I knew how to ride...

Post by Two-smoker »

But apparently not xD

im currently using the demo, but I refuse to buy the full game until i can go a full race without crashing 40+ times and going slow as a turtle.

ive used a few setups that vurbmoto guys have said to be good beginner setups,i races with acade on,then turned it off because arcade is boring.

i try to go around corners in 2nd or 3rd,like i wud irl...most of the time i just wash out in the corner, and if there isnt a berm to catch me...dear god...
I can hardly turn around "U-turn" without falling over, when coming out of a turn "assuming i make it into it" then I fall over once giving it gas.
jumps,i can land fine, but if I'm even a little sideways "maybe a foot or so over on the rear" then I bounce and flop all over at landing. I've watched vids for beginners and I've tested the leaning system and dab.

I really want to buy the full game and play with some of you,but..I'm pulling my hair out wrecking so much like a total nooblet.

also,I know this isnt mx vs atv,no where near it..thats why i want to learn, and yes i try to center myself up as soon as I come out of turns.

try more leveling, try it like 30 or like that, then lower to 20.

You do have to slow down for the turns in this game. To go fast you need to be very aware of the angle of the ground. If you have a berm you can turn really hard, but if it's flat or off camber you need to tiptoe through.

dont try to attack the track, just ride around and increase speed over time as you get comfortable.

Yeah I started at like 80 stab......I got all the way down to 20 eventually (we are talking months).....and now after playing with advanced stab settings my setup is virtually unrideable for most guys! haha
