Level Section In Editor

So I was messing around on my track that I made with the in-game editor. And I saw this section that I totally botched when I first made it. Anyways. I want to just level that section completely and start over from a flat spot. How do I do that without just adding jumps on top of my old section?

not 100% sure how well this works but try turning your focus and strength all the way up and use the smoothing tool over the area you want to clear. not 100% about this so dont be pissed if it doesnt work

Paint it with a flat gradient.
