Game Keeps Crashing on Mac

Alright so today i was playing sim then I left and came back a little while later and I opened up the game, and tried to join 02. It was loading and then it said "mx.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to shut down...". Usually this happens whenever my graphics are too high and the game will just be a lagfest, so I closed the game and tried to reopen it to turn down my graphics. But as soon as I opened it, the error popped up again. I tried the regular mx.exe (not the snapshot) and that didn't work either and I even tried deleting Crossover but nothing. Has anyone on a mac had this problem and was able to solve it? Thanks
