Long load times and FPS drop
I've been experiencing especially long load times lately. I'm talking a minute or two just to load a single rider and a track. Granted, I'm running maxed out graphics, but it's still much longer times than I used to have. Performance also seems to be low. I've tried redoing graphics drivers and nothing seems to help me. I have the exact same problem in Modern Warfare 3 and the Portal games, too. It's bugging me and I'm afraid that there may be something wrong with my GPU. Any help?

Long loading times would be your hard drive. Might want to start backing up the drive or just your important files just in case, if it's getting worse quickly your drive might be going.

Have you tried a system restore just to see if it's software and not hardware? Also might want to do a defragment if you haven't in a while.

I'll try those when I get home.
Gawrsh, I hope it's not the drive. Only been 9 months. Then again, it's my first custom PC and I have made loads of mistakes. . . Such as going AMD.

It's a mechanical drive right, not an SSD? If it's an SSD skip the defragment. In that case you would want to look at updating firmware, but most firmware updates are destructive (aka have to reformat).

Nah, HDD. Thinking about an SSD though.
