Computer Discussion (JLV Check)
Hey guys.
Quite bad english but I'm trying to explain so good as I can.
I really need an explanation.
I had an HP computer, exactly same brand as my friend (Old one, came out 2004?), I had massive lagg when its around 10 people online, and he can ride the SX series without any lagg at all.
My friend bought a brand new computer for 2 month ago, he can't even ride MXS at all (In new race without bots). The newest processors does not support "Old games" they said at the place where he bought it.
Does this have anything to do with the game softwares or else, Because a brand new computer should make MXS, This brand new computer my friend bought can play Black OPS on highest graphic and other graphics-intensive games.
If I didn't explain good, Reply and I'll re-explain.
Kind Regards Hellgren

Re: Computer Discussion (JLV Check)
This is the items I have in my computer right now.
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1
System Manufacturer: System manufacturer
System Model: System Product Name
BIOS: BIOS Date: 08/01/07 09:47:33 Ver: 08.00.10
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E4500 @ 2.20GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.2GHz
Memory: 3072MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
DX Setup Parameters: Not found
User DPI Setting: Using System DPI
System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent)
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT
Maybe someone have worse items in their computer but still works to ride SX series with, no lagg?

if you go into the graphics/sound setup on SIM, what does it say your graphics card is? sometimes it will run off your onboard.

but, having a NEW computer does not mean it is good for gaming. The computer you have is definately not a good gaming rig.

Your friend probably needs to install the OpenGL drivers for his computer.
BTW, I don't pay any special attention to topics with my initials in the title. If anything I try to ignore them.

You're probably going to have to lower your settings. Especially the texture settings.

I hope you didn't pay much for that 'new' computer. I had the exact same CPU with SLI 8600GT and I sold it for $400. It was a four year old Dell built, guess now its getting close to 5 years since I've had my new one since December.

I bought an computer from my friend abit better than my old one, I did it because I wanted to do the series.
But I get some laggs, I guess it's my processors.
