adding handguards to a template?

hey, im thinkin about runnin a bike with handguards and i was wondering how to add them to a template that doesn't already have them, i know my stuff good enough, so you dont need to gimme a crazy long response. :D :D :D

If the model does not have hand guards on it then adding them to the template will not do any good they have to be on the model also

so it has to initially come with them and they can only be removed, not added, unless theres a blank spot where they used to be on the template? thats what i've done in the past but i jus didn't know if there was anyway to add them to a template that doesn't have a spot for them...?

You can model them on/ take them from a released bike model and then uv it to a blank space.
If you tell me what bike/template I'll be able to help you a lot more.
