computer struggles to play MX sim

Just wondering how good a Computer/laptop needs to be, so you can run this game with low to ok detail ??

My laptop struggles like heck on some of the tracks and everything is on low :/

I THINK minimum specs are about 4 gig RAM, 1 or 2 gig dedicated graphics card and you need to get other people to answer more specs, sorry

I have 8gb ram
and my card is 1gb
also have i7 2ghz

If those are the components in your laptop, it shouldn't be struggling. If it is, then at least you can take cpu, gpu, and ram out of the equation. Unless one of them are in the process of dying.

have a look a defragging your laptop aswell to give more cpu usage etc

You might need to search but in settings somewhere, and you can adjust the power usage. But have a look at doing a system defrag

i defrag quite regularly, i'm really confused to why it lags so much, all ofther games seem to be fine. ive been reading around and it looks like this game run's on 1 core ? lol. i wonder if it has anything to do with how my in game settings are ?

what are your graphics settings at? also try changing the "terrain rendering method"

Ok so i changed a few settings and it seems to be running on pretty high settings which is awesome. had to change the rendering settings and disable a few things and it's perfect i think. Now to start training =D

Thanks pal, Which servers do you play on ?? fancy riding with some people who i can chat to. Maybe make some new friends ect and start getting into the community
