Help understanding and using terrain shaders
ok ive got off on this in the wrong way apparently i got specular fixed now so it dont look like plastic but im having issues getting the detail i want like the shaders that DJ99x has made etc. and yFMX im not understanding how they can get there normals to look like a bump map and to operate as a bump and normal map if you get what im saying from both of these guys there normals also look like a bump map and everytime i try it my textures turn out really shitty and i want my textures to be good so im asking you guys if you know to help me please cuz i want this detail.
Attempted Photographer < I try.... Shitty racer, Only good at screenshots, forever pretending to be quick at MXS.

It would be nice for a written or a video tutorial on how to do terrain shaders.

yea cuz id like my tracks to be good but my normals dont come out how id like em and my specular is always way to bright
