Running 1.8 Demo on Mac using Wine, no sound
Like the title says, I'm trying to play the newest version of the demo on osx 10.6.8 using wine. I have it repackaged as an app and it's playable, I just don't get any sound. Anybody have a solution for this problem or any idea why it might be happening?

You probably spilt some wine somewhere. Might want to check.

It might help to set this environment variable:
JUGL_OPTIONS=[dsnd:off]
That will make it use waveOut instead of DirectSound.

So all I need to do is enter "JUGL_OPTIONS=[dsnd:off]" in terminal? Am I doing it wrong, because it didn't work.

Not sure about OSX but on Linux it would be:
export JUGL_OPTIONS='[dsnd:off]'
Then the variable would be set in that shell and any processes it spawns.
