Help with Lag

Post by DM 119 »

Okay, so im on my laptop because im currently staying in Missouri, and my laptop is kind of old and i can run it with about 10 people without lag the way it is, but if theres more than that... well shit hits the fan. I have my graphics as,
______________________________________________________________________________________________
Ground Geometric Details: 50
Ground Texture Levels: 7
Ground Texture Resolution: 32x32
Mipmaps: Yes
Compress Textures: Yes
Hardware/Direct: Not avaible
Shaders: No
Model Geometric Detail: 1
Model Texture Detail: 7
Roost: 0
Lens Flare: No
Reflections: No
______________________________________________________________________
Also I do have record demos: Off, and I put all my gear, helmet, bike back to stock skins... Is there anything that will change my lag drastically, or even a little bit... with out making the game unplayable ( such as if you lower ground detail to low then you can even see stuff.) So any help will be highly highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dakota Morgan

Dude three topics in different areas is a bit ridiculous. Try lowing the model texture detail if your maxing out your V Ram.

Video Card Ram. How much Ram on you Graphics card? say you have 512mb when you load on line how much texture memory is being used? You can see this by opening your chat and it will be at the top of your chat showing when you connected and ready. I have have 1 G on mine and i have to set mine down 1 to not overload it. This is just a idea im not a 100% on what your problem is.
