Open Gl times out and crashes mx simulator

i have been experiencing this for the last year or so, mx simulator just randomly crashes to the desktop and pops up the error in the image below. ive followed all the instructions that the pop up message tells me to do. i have a fresh install of the current nvidia drivers. apparently theres a 2 second time out delay in the windows registry, from which ive tried to increase, (TdrDelay) but with no success. they recommend to turn down my graphics, but im running in normal with 100+ fps.
heres my pc specs.
