Post by motokid499 »

Hey guys! ive had MXS for along time now, really like it. but lately its been spazzing?.....lets say i go on time trial, and my fps is at 120. i get little bursts of lag sometimes. id be riding and then BAM! i have 5 fps for about 2-3 seconds. then everything is fine. then it happens over again in about 5-6 seconds. its weird and i dont know sh*t about computers so any help is awesome. thx guys! also i have graphics on high fps now because of problem, but it doesnt seem to help much. any graphics suggestions too would be appreciated.

Could be something overheating. Make sure your fans and heatsinks aren't covered in dust.

Also, make sure you don't have any background programs like Windows Update running.

my bad, dont know what i was thinking. i meant compatibility settings, works for me if my game runs laggy. Or turn the model texture and ground texture levels down

That definitely sounds like an overheating problem, download a program to check your temps. If they're really high when you're gaming you need to do some cleaning, or get more fans. Or your parts will stop working..

also it always speeds up then goes slow motion for awhile than really fast again its weird and annoying. is there a way i can just keep it in the middle? no slowmo fastforward just normal. my game is going whacko lately.
