Re: Question about the capabilities of a new computer
That would likely be able to run on high detail in rF races. That graphics card is pretty good.
My graphics card is only 258 mb, 2.4GHz dual core processor, and 4 gigs of ram and I could run high detail with about 40fps. I run normal graphics customized for races to maximize frame rate.
The specs are great.

DP. I mean 40fps on high detail in an rF supercross race, but not nationals.

The GT series from Nvidia graphics card are not for games as far as I know. Everything depends on you budget, so what do you want to spend ?
Tennis, Basketball and Baseball all requires one ball
Motocross requires two!

Re: Question about the capabilities of a new computer
It's not designed for hardcore gaming but it'll definitely work well for MX Sim. Like Kording said it's all about your budget.Kording wrote:The GT series from Nvidia graphics card are not for games as far as I know. Everything depends on you budget, so what do you want to spend ?

That power supply is just way to sketchy. IBuyPowers standard Psu's are known to cause problems. Bump it up to atleast a 500w by a major brand (Corsair,Raidmax, etc.) to be on the safe side. As for the graphics card debate, after the research ive been doing ive found that the gtx 650 ti BOOST 2GB is the best bang for your buck. $150 cant be beat. The rest of it should get you by just fine.

Re: Question about the capabilities of a new computer
I actually am thinking about bumping my CPU to a A8-5800k. And then bumping my card to a GTX 650 Ti. Or I may also go with a fx 4130 and the and radeon hd 7770. Which one would suit me better overall for this game and games like battlefield 3

Re: Question about the capabilities of a new computer
if you went with both the fx 4130 and the 650 ti boost 2gb you'd be perfect.
