Why is my Mx Simulator Lagging?

Post by iNoScope »

I can't even play Mx Simulator. When i open Mx Simulator it lags and i can't even set my controls. Even when i play with robots i can't move it lags so much. But i have to tell i had windows 8 and i just installed windows 7 and it lags now. I installed windows 7 because windows 8 is a little to complicated and im used to it. Should i install windows 8 again or do something about this? Please Help.

what computer do you have ? And I dont want to hear : "a white one"
Tennis, Basketball and Baseball all requires one ball
Motocross requires two!

Not to be offensive but that thing is so bad. I mean, 1.3ghz? comeon. You might want to start looking for an upgrade.

Looking for an upgrade? It's got W8, it can't be a year old yet.

When you install a new OS you usually lose your graphics drivers, leaving you with software rendering. Install the graphics driver for your GPU.

It is a year old actually and even if it wasnt just cause it has windows 8 doesnt mean its brand new, I could put W8 on my 2005 shittop right now if I wanted too. And only reason I suggest an upgrade is cause these are the minimum requirements Josh posted on the main page.

-Requires 2 GHz CPU with 1 GB RAM and 3D graphics accelerator with full OpenGL 1.1 support. Works on either Windows (XP or newer) or Linux.

I ran it with a 1.9ghz dual core on my very first laptop but only on stock tracks and had at best 22 fps, but hey that was 5 years ago and alot has changed.

I assume by him not know what is in it and telling you the color of the tower and it being an HP that upgrading the OS would be out of his reach.
