Super High Ping/Really Long Load Times

So lately I've noticed I've been getting super high ping. I'm talking 300 more ping than I usually get. I've kicked everyone off the internet and turned off every device except for my computer but no matter what I do it's unreasonable. So is this being caused by a virus or can it be caused by my router or what? I'm completely stumped. If anyone has any tips to keep their ping down it'd be much appreciated.

While I've been having ping issues I've also noticed my load times have gained about 10+ seconds. I usually load in slow anyways due to my high graphics but there's no reason it should take two minutes to load a track with 3 people on it. So is buying an SSD the only way to fix this or is there another solution? I load in quick in every game except for MX Sim and it just so happens I play sim the most. I never want to change servers because i dont want to wait two minutes to load in.

Do you get a high ping with anything else? You might want to try a traceroute to see where the bad latency starts.

I get bad ping in most games, and I did a traceroute to this site and this is what I got:


I have no clue what any of it means but I can tell it isnt too good.

Any idea why my game would be taking so long to load?

You should probably trace your route to one of the servers and not the website.....

Looks like the lag shows up once it leaves your lan. Probably something wrong with your connection to Verizon.

i have verizon as well and noticed it used to be good and now is struggle mode
