Ok, first off I have already resolved the problem but figured I'd post the solution to what I was experiencing .
I have always used a generic xbox controller ( Gamestop, After Glow) but my problem with them was quality. I have gone through 3 controllers in the last 2 years so I went out and bought an actual Microsoft controller this time around.
So I get home plug it in and start playing and in no time I noticed that my analog sticks were "screwed" most noticed on my Right stick as that is what I use for throttle. It seemed like
I had the auto clutch set way low and the bike had no acceleration to the point where I couldn't clear even the easiest or triples. So went to calibrate it, didn't fix it. Went and tried to calibrate it again but this time not using the "full" range of the sticks and that didn't work. So I did a little research and found that other people were having a similar issue in which the plastic hole that the stick comes through was not allowing the stick to use its full range of motion. I found a tutorial on how to resolve the problem and is easier to post a link vs write out a description so here it is. Hope it helps someone.
