Recording of the demos.

So awhile back I posted about my problem how my game would glitch every so often and I was told to turn recording demos off. While that worked, and the glitches are gone, I really miss being able to record demos for many reasons. So is there anyway to record demos without the glitches? I feel like right now it's a loss either choice. The glitches are bad enough to cause me to crash, and not being able to record demos makes me miss all those epic moments, and also makes it more difficult to protest/ban somebody if I needed to. Is there any other solution to this or am I just stuck with one or the other?

It's something with the disk driver disabling its DMA or caching. It might be possible for me to work around it by using Win32 IO functions instead of ANSI C to write the file.
