Note: I have searched the forum and have found nothing that answers my question.
I'm currently running the demo version.
While attempting to solve a problem with using skins, I downloaded Crossover and followed this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJF8ouoHyQA on setting up a bottle for MX Simulator. However, when Crossover is creating the bottle and it opens the file, it runs the demo installer instead of a snapshot of the full game. This is the only difference in what I did versus what happens in the video. Everything installs fine, except when I run the game, a gray screen comes up with the boxes, but no text, for the 9 menu items in the left hand corner of the screen. I can click them, and they bring me to screens which resemble bike setup, etc, but nothing has any text, and in some cases the screen is just gray. Has anyone had this problem and if so how can I resolve it? I've tried re-downloading both Crossover and the MX Simulator Demo, so I can't think of what's wrong except maybe that I'm putting an installer (because I only have the demo) in the bottle except for a snapshot. It would be great if someone who runs the game on a Mac could help me out. Thanks in advance.
P.S. I can run the game OK with Wine, except there is no audio and I can't get skins and tracks, so I am hoping to run the game using Crossover. I apologize in advance if this is something that has already been discussed, but like I said, I couldn't find anything on it, hence the post.
