2014 Supercross Time Trial not working

2014 Supercross Time Trial not working
Just for the 2014 tracks time trial is not setup right for me. I start at the gates, and if i hit back I just back up. My setting is on "Backing up aborts attempts" and when I tab to track editor and select timing gates, there's nothing there.

Do you have 1.9 installed?
