Can't Get Back Up Once I Fall!

Please help! Every time I fall down (a lot), I can't get back up. The game wont shift me from laying on the ground, to upright again. I found out it works if i use the reverse button, but that is very annoying because it backs up 99% of the time, and wastes time getting up. Also, if my guy falls of the bike, the game puts him back on, but then doesn't pick the bike up off the ground. It seems just like a really weird bug. I've tried messing with all my settings, restarting mx simulator, but it doesn't work. Please help! Thank you!

I imagine the rider picks himself up when you use sit/dab?
