Resolution Problems.

Post by bestmarksman »

Recently I have changed up my resolution for my computer and haven't had any problems, however today when i started up my game and my task bar (On Windows 7) was showing over the game. I went through EVERY Resolution and Default Full-screen yet the Task Bar still shows through. I decided to try and play, the task bar went away but my arms disappeared. What do I do? Thx For the Help

What is the default resolution of your monitor? I'm assuming this is what Windows is set at? Is it the same resolution your game is set at?

Open the game the open the Task Manager (Crtl+Alt+Dlt) and go to processes, find explorer.exe and end it. That should stop the task bar from flickering in and out but its odd that the arms are connected to it so see if when you disable the taskbar like that it still makes the arms go away.

To get taskbar/icons back in Task Manager go to File<New Task<"explorer.exe" or restart the PC.

There is an option whether or not to view the arms in first person. You might want to verify that it's set to show the arms.

... I have no comment for that. Art school is doing bad things.

Another thought. Have you tried playing it in Windowed mode? Does anything happen with the game window then?

Putting it in windowed mode I had no problems, other than no arms. I also can not find this setting.

Believe that setting is in the Bike setup menu in the bottom check boxes? Maybe Graphics Menu?

Thank you but I really shouldn't have to get rid of my toolbar every time I play because I haven't had this problem before, Do you know of any way to fix this? (sorry for sounding bitchy lol)
