FPS probs

Just randomly started happening when I was playing today. Load up a track, doesn't matter which one, start out at 125 fps, and it skips between 125 and something below 100, then gradually the skipping gets worse by going from 80 something to like 30 something. Tried all the different terrain rendering methods, nothing helps. Kinda odd that it would just start randomly doing that. Any help?

If you quit and restart does it come back? If not it could be a heat problem. Check your system temperatures.

Yes it came back, but I'm playing again right now and it's at a consistent 125 again. That's what I was gonna guess too, was overheating. But thanks
