Deleting Ghost Laps in TT

Post by BlizzardDUCK »

I downloaded some tracks that come preinstalled with ghost laps and I'm no where near the skill to beat them. I'd like to delete them and race my own ghost, is this possible?

in your personal folder there should be a folder with the track name, even if it comes in a saf. Inside that folder there will be two demo files lastlap and fastlap. delete those.

He means when the track comes with a fastlap that's too hard to beat. You need to go into the track folder in your personal folder and rename the lastlap.mxdemo file to fastlap.mxdemo. That'll override the fast lap demo packaged with the track.

If they come in a saf file, just cross the finishline, then back up. Go into your personal folder, the game has now created a folder with the tracks name. In the folder there will be a "lastlap.mxdemo". If you rename it to " fastlap.mxdemo" it will override the old one. Now you'll have a "blank" ghost time :)
