Installing Bike skins to MX Sim

For some reason whenever i install a skin in to the the personal folder and the graphic doesn't show up in the game. 
I even checked the dino bike in note pad ++ and then looked at the graphic kits for that bike in game and found nothing.
However it has worked on the stock 2017 kawi skin and the stock suzki skin.
I have tried many different bike skins but the do not work.
I am having no problem with tracks, gear or helmets.
PLEAS HELP
