The game can be installed and started but it runs at a maximum of 1-2 fps which makes it impossible to play.

Which version of the game are you running? Recent snapshots are 64 bit and 1.13 is 32 bit so there might be a difference there.

The most likely reason for super slow framerates would be software OpenGL rendering. Not sure what the best way to troubleshoot that would be on Wine/Mac.

I have version 1.13 which I downloaded after purchase. Unfortunately I can't install snapshots in Crossover because the game no longer starts with the new snapshot .exe. :(

I have now also tested Whiskey with the GPTK and get the same result. I can start version 1.13 with 1-2 fps, but when I install the snapshot the application no longer starts for testing.
I'm now running out of options. :(

When you're getting 1 fps, what does the driver info in the graphics menu say?

If it only supports OpenGL 2.1 it'll be almost impossible to support. OpenGL 2.1 is 17 years old. Not sure what Apple is thinking providing such terrible OpenGL support.

Not sure about it but it might be different if you install XQuartz and have Wine use that instead of native Mac rendering.

Read a little more and it looks like they only support newer OpenGL when opened as a core context. So you might have better luck with the newer snapshots which ask for a 3.1 core context by default. Is there any indication of why the newer snapshots aren't starting?

I tested all snapshots and with Snapshot 2021-03-31-1566 and D3DMetal selected in Crossover the game runs without any problems and works perfectly. :D
With all newer snapshots, the window opens briefly as if the game wants to start and then closes again immediately. :(

Not sure where this would be located in Crossover but it'd be interesting to see what the lastlog.txt file looked like for the newer snapshots that don't run. Might just take adding "--glversion 4.1core" to the command line to get it going.

Sorry for my delayed answer.
I tried the update with the input and the latest snapshot, unfortunately without success. As soon as you start MX Sim it closes again.
I have now tested the game extensively. Although the game runs and can be played on high settings, it has noticeable mico stuttering even at the lowest graphics settings, which makes playing unenjoyable.

If you could search your system for the lastlog.txt file and post it, it might explain why it's closing unexpectedly. Might have the best luck searching for folders named "MX Simulator" and checking them for the lastlog.txt file.

I also noticed that the micro stuttering only occurs when I ride. If I just stand and move the driver/handlebar then everything runs smoothly. I've already found a post about this in the forum, but the solution to the problem always refers to the Nvidia control panel... :?

It's definitely failing trying to create the OpenGL context. I'd try adding "--glversion 4.1core" to the command line options.

The latest snapshots had a lot of work done to eliminate stutters when drawing the terrain textures. So if you can get it running it might be better.
