usb3.0 xbone controller?

Friend got a brand new xbox one controller and it only has a USB3 slot, when he connects it it works fine for everything that isn't mxsim.. Can't bind buttons in game. Does sim not support usb3.0 or is there another way around this that doesn't involve getting xpadder?

Do you mean mini USB?

You may try manually reinstalling the drivers or updating the controller firmware in the Xbox accessories app. Also make sure that the controller is fully powered on before you start the game.

Possibly the dumbest thing I've experienced is an issue in which my controller would not work with MXS after I had used it to play GTA 5. Make sure you have fully restarted the computer after playing GTA and moving to MXS. That's probably it...

you can open mx bikes and it will fix it without restarting your pc, not sure if any other games will fix it tho
