kx125 wireframe

Post by sk84life933 »

This question is probably stupid and obvious to some people but im trying to make a kx125 from luiz's wireframe. I wanted to see it in the game? is it possible to get the bike in the game or do i have to render it. I dont know how to use blender but i do have it downloaded. if anybody can help please do. :D

.jm files (files to get the bike ingame):
http://www.mediafire.com/?mmmmymizzam
I don't know what exactly is in the download, but what it says in the thread, is that the .jm files are in there (whether they are saf'd or not). Put them in your personal folder with all of your skins.

That link came from the kx125 release thread, if you didn't know: http://mxsimulator.com/benchracing3/vie ... f=7&t=5440

Are some people on this forum confused about what files get a bike ingame? I've seen a few posts were people don't know what .jm files are for, and/or how to get a bike ingame. It seemed like common knowledge too me... .jm files are the files that put the bike model ingame.

and now i need more help  I got the model in the game, but instead of it fitting all nicely it looks like the default model and every part is out of place kinda like not having the latest snapshot or any of that stuff to make the skin fit the model. Any help with that?

Well make sure that you have a skin that fits the wireframe of the new kx model. If you do, then make sure that you named the skin right. Check out this thread if you're having trouble naming it right: http://mxsimulator.com/benchracing3/vie ... =12&t=1862

If your skin isn't named right, it will automatically use the defualt skin, which doesn't fit the new kx model. So it won't fit nicely.

"bike_side_plates.jm" and "bike_front_plate.jm" are files used to mark where the numbers go on the dirt bike model. They don't need to be present for the rest of the model too work, it will just come up ingame saying that it couldn't load those files. So, if you don't have any numbers on your bike ingame, that is why.

Are there any skins for this bike that I could have? Or are they all private?

well i renamed the files with the word bike and nothing helped. It still gave it the default bike with the wire frame on it all mixed up and stuff.

You are supposed to sub-in the name of the bike for "bike". So the files would be:
kx125_frame.jm
kx125_swingarm.jm
kx125_fork_upper.jm
kx125_fork_lower.jm

Skins should be named like this (sub in your custom name for "XXXX"):
kx125-XXXX.png

By subbing in he just means you are replacing "bike" with kx125 and in the skins you are replacing "XXXX" with the name of your skin, like Stock.
So the jm's should be named like Alex said then you name the skin kx125-Stock.png
