Throttle Delay

Post by beans319 »

Note, I'm playing sim on my mac air m2 through Parallels, no frame or graphic issues. Runs fine.

I'm experiencing a minor throttle lag when playing, that is quite noticeable. I'm 99% sure it is not the controller/connection itself, as 1. there is no other input delay from other buttons/analog sticks. 2. When accelerating, the tachometer dial isn't lagging. (i.e the dial moves in synch with the input of the controller, it is just the sound and actual acceleration itself that is slightly delayed).

Not sure if this is a common bug that there is an easy fix to, but i couldn't find anything. Thanks.

Definitely sounds like a sound issue. Does it say anything about "waveout" in the lastlog.txt file?

Nothing about "waveout"

Here's a screenshot of the lastlog file.

OK. I thought maybe DirectSound wasn't working. I googled around a bit for you and found some people having sound latency issues on MacOS but no one seemed to have a fix.
