Internal. I haven't actually tried the cycles yet. Maybe I should then.

I've always wondered. How do you get rid of the squares on the wheels in a render?

well the wheel texture is a png, which has alpha channel, which tells it which part is visible and which not...in blender you have to make the texture affect also the transparency of the material, not only diffuse...didn't really make alpha mask to work good in blender...but there has to be a way to do so...goggle or youtube it and you will find a tutorial if you can't figure it yourself

I use my own waaay too high poly discs and sprocket, as you can probably see they aren't bolted on the hub. I was just too lazy to take a look how to use alpha channels in blender.. Now I know but still it looks like a bit hazard to me.

it looks better on the render if its modeled, so if you have skills to do so, or you have model of it, then use it ;)

JRE your render and the model itself are looking realy good! I still wonder how fast you have learned all these things.
Tennis, Basketball and Baseball all requires one ball
Motocross requires two!

I don't know it even myself. As I have said people are learning things different. I think it was same thing when I started riding enduro, first I was really slow but learned very fast. Unfortunately then the fast progress started to kinda scary me since I wasn't injured badly yet. Thats why I'm not gonna be very skilled rider ever I guess. So I'm not good on everything :)
